First House Competition: How Fast Can You Wrap a Mummy?
Excitement filled the air as students recently participated in the first house competition, featuring a unique and fun challenge: "How Fast Can You Wrap a Mummy?" This event was a fantastic opportunity for students to showcase their teamwork, creativity, and competitive spirit in a friendly atmosphere.
The challenge required each house to wrap two different mannequins: one full-sized male mannequin and one baby-sized mannequin. To tackle this task, each house organised into two teams. A team of five students was tasked to wrap the adult mannequin, while a smaller team of two focused on the baby mannequin.
The competition was intense, with each house demonstrating their skills and teamwork. Ultimately, Seacole House emerged victorious in the adult mannequin challenge, impressively completing the task and earning 50 points. Nightingale House claimed victory in the baby mannequin challenge, wrapping their mannequin with great speed and precision to secure 25 points.
The event not only showcased the students' abilities to work under pressure but also fostered camaraderie and school spirit. It was heart-warming to see students cheering for one another, sharing tips, and celebrating each other's successes throughout the competition.
We look forward to more engaging challenges in the future that will continue to strengthen our school community!
