Year 12 Students Get a Glimpse of Their Future at UWE Bristol and UCAS Fair
Last Friday, our Year 12 students had the exciting opportunity to visit the University of the West of England (UWE) campus in Bristol, followed by a trip to the UCAS fair at Ashton Gate football stadium. This trip was a key part of helping students unlock the vast opportunities awaiting them after school, sparking new ideas and ambitions for their futures.
At UWE, students experienced a glimpse of university life and the diverse range of courses on offer. Some of our students toured their Business department and the state-of-the-art Engineering facilities, while others were given the chance to visit UWE’s medical department, gaining insight into the university’s advanced healthcare training options.
The day continued at the UCAS fair, where students met with representatives from various universities and apprenticeship providers. They received valuable advice on different educational and career pathways, helping them understand how to achieve their goals.
It was a productive and inspiring trip that gave our Year 12 students a clearer sense of direction as they begin planning for the next two years of study and their future careers.
