Erin: A Shining Star in the Making

Meet Erin, a rising talent whose passion and determination are making waves in the performing arts world. From her first experience at a pantomime to her dreams of performing on the West End stage, Erin has proven that, with hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

Her journey began at the age of 5 when a trip to the pantomime sparked her desire to be part of the magic. After six auditions, her dream came true when she secured a role at the Princess Theatre in Torquay. Since then, she has successfully auditioned for a variety of productions, including Cinderella, Aladdin, Beauty & The Beast, and is currently appearing in this year’s Jack & The Beanstalk.

In 2020, inspired by incredible dance performances she saw on social media, Erin set out to refine her dancing skills. Her passion drove her to train in multiple dance genres six days a week, and she has since participated in musical theatre programs to further hone her craft.

Her ambition led her to audition for West End Kids in London, where she earned a place in the advanced troupe in just five weeks—an incredible achievement! Additionally, Erin auditioned for Tring Performing Arts School and The Hammond Performing Arts School for musical theatre and dance, earning offers from both prestigious institutions. Through it all, she remains unwavering in her commitment to achieving her dreams.

Erin’s resilience and talent have also led to remarkable opportunities beyond the stage. She stood out amongst 35,000 applicants to appear with Gordon Ramsay in her first commercial and landed a featured role in the ITV series The Trouble with Maggie Cole, starring Dawn French.

Currently, she is a dedicated student at Wilkes Performing Arts, attending their associate program one day a month. Her love for performing remains as strong as ever, and this March, she will take the stage as Donkey in her dance school’s annual theatre production.

When asked about her future aspirations, Erin shared: “I would love my dancing to take me to the West End stages, and to be involved in films would be an amazing experience—especially working with someone like Emma Watson, who truly inspires me.”

We are incredibly proud of Erin’s journey so far and can’t wait to see where her talent and dedication take her next. We wish her all the best in her pursuit of excellence and look forward to celebrating her future performances.
