Our small school provides a new approach to learning, blending traditional teaching with real, project-based learning and work experience. You will work in small groups with individual support from professional mentors.
Joining our College makes sense if you want a career in the medicine and healthcare industries.
Scott College has a maximum of 375 healthcare students at full capacity so each year group will have just 75 students. That means smaller classes and a higher teacher- to-student ratio, delivering more time for one-to-one support.
Schools like ours combine traditional teaching with a pioneering approach to learning with a focus on teaching through projects individually designed for you. Plus we offer an extended school day so it’s more like work and university.
Your learning will be rooted in the real world, which helps you develop the skills and experience you need to flourish in life and work.
Guided by local healthcare employers, we offer a range of academic and vocational qualifications at Levels 2 and 3, including GCSEs in Science, English and Maths at Key Stage 4 and A Levels and Level 3 Vocational qualifications at Key Stage 5.
Crucially, we offer work placements linked directly to employment opportunities in the medical and healthcare sector.
You will gain a broad range of employability and life skills through PiXL EDGE programme and we expect our students to progress on to university, further training, apprenticeship and into employment after completing their studies at Scott College.Apply
