GCSE Success For Scott Students

Scott College may not have a Year 11 until September but that doesn’t mean we don’t have GCSE results to celebrate today. Over half of Year 10 sat their GCSE Statistics and English Literature GCSEs and a number of Year 12 students took English Language and Maths. Headteacher Mr Cox said: “We’re really pleased with our first set of GCSE results which shows our students are on track to do amazing things in Year 11. Our top scorer Eden achieved Grade 8 in Statistics and we had plenty of other high grades to celebrate. I’m really looking forward to this day next year to see what our students achieve.”

Scott’s First Leavers Celebrate University Places

Our first ever leavers are celebrating achieving university places. James is off to Cardiff University to study Biochemistry and Ellie achieved the grades to study Dentistry at the Peninsula Dental School. Trixton joins Plymouth University as a future paramedic and Audrey is off to start her journey towards being a social worker at Bath University. Marsha starts Biomedicine at Cardiff Met and Indya joins Marjon on their Psychotherapy and Counselling course. Cydney will join the Radiography course at Plymouth University. Good luck to all our Sixth form students going on to their next stage of education. GCSE results are out on Thursday from 9.30-11.00am in the Scott Suite
