A group of Scott College Sixth Form students took centre stage at TEDMED Live SW on 24 November.
Taking their place alongside other speakers our students lead a discussion on the theme of Youth/Truth while headteacher Mr Cox spoke about how Scott College came in to being .
Other speakers said the students were “amazing ambassadors” for Scott College, talking about a range of subjects including their experience of gender, social media and the dangers of vaping.
“I don’t just want to be that stereotype created by (social) media,” said Charlie, who chaired the debate and was praised for his “insightful” talk.
The students were described as “a credit to this city and themselves”.
“It’s refreshing to see tomorrow’s NHS join us today. ” said TEDMED Live SW
