We are looking for two colleagues to join Scott College in September. The main role of the post holders is to support our students as they embark on their academic journey, on the path to becoming a health professional of the future. This will be achieved by the following duties and responsibilities:
• Leading, managing, supporting and motivating an allocated group of students throughout their time at Scott College.
• Providing regular structured one to one group sessions with students
• Assessing students’ skills and developing personal learning plans with routes for progression for each student
• Supporting students during their work placements and encouraging the development of their employability skills through coaching
• Encouraging students to be reflective and evaluate their own progress, setting and assessing progress against personalised targets

Administrator

We are looking for a colleague to join Scott College in September.

As a small school the main role of the post holder is to undertake administrative tasks as directed by the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher.

The specific nature of the work will be determined by the needs of the College and will therefore likely reflect the life cycle of the academic year and the needs of the school. This post also includes a shared responsibility for Reception cover.

This will be achieved by the following duties and responsibilities:

1. To carry out general administrative tasks e.g. typing letters, mail merging, data entry, designing and completing spreadsheets that can be manipulated to provide relevant information, collating information as directed

2. Use of SIMS and Go4School for student data entry and production of basic reports as directed.

3. Co-ordinate and organise appointments, book rooms and keep the electronic diaries updated at all times

4. To provide cover on the Reception desk when required, which may include dealing with complaints, and difficult/ volatile people

5. Support and attend events

Receptionist

We are looking for a colleague to join Scott College in September as a Receptionist.
As a small school the main role of the post holder is to undertake reception duties as directed by the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher. The specific nature of the work will be determined by the needs of the College and will therefore likely reflect the life cycle of the academic year and the needs of the school.
This will be achieved by the following duties and responsibilities:
• To be the first point of contact at reception.
• To deal with parents, students, staff and visitor enquiries
• Operate the main telephone switch board.
• To deal with deliveries to the college
• Process incoming and outgoing mail
• To provide First Aid cover to staff and students who are injured or become unwell.
